Last week one of my Photo Professors introduced the class to a man by the name of Francis Bacon. Francis was a painter, whose images were of people that were blurry and out of focus. Because i am not a painter, and never will be. .LoL. I decided to do my own version of a Francis Bacon, but with photographs.

How can I know what I think till I see what I say?

So I have officially started classes at SVA, and so far im loving everything. .except the work. But hey thats school! All the kids in my class are really cool and theirphotographs are pretty awesome. The teachers are cool, i feel like they have alot to offer me. So one of my teachers were talking too the class and while i despreadly tried to stay awake during class, i was reading the handout that she gave us. And while i skimmed through the paper i came across this quote "How can I know what I think till I see what I say?"- E.M. Forster. It actually made me start thinking, how do we know? Then the teacher began talking about visual arts, and why we need it in our lives. I felt that the lecture and quote somehow had a connection, with each other. So the next time someone ask me why i take photos, my response will be "I take photos so i can know what i see."
